This was a rescue puppy. I first saw the image on the Facebook site of the RSPCA Qld. The puppy has been terribly mistreated and starved at only two months old, but fortunately was saved and nurtured by her rescuers, the RSPCA. With their permission, I used the image and created this painting and plan on donating all the funds from the sale of this work to the Animal shelter in Kerikeri, NZ that is the SPCA.
