This sculpture is a small tribute to the work of the infamous Graffiti artist, Banksy.

The work features a stylised figure (my Star Man) who aspires to being an graffiti artist. Here he writes in the sky, using his favourite image of a star.  The little guy holds a spray can in one hand, with an empty can at his feet, all the while reaching up to spray his design, while reaching and standing his foot on a little stool.

This work is created from bronze, with a completely self-supporting bronze base and is finished in a beautiful yellowish-green patina which is created specially for my work. The work looks wonderful from both sides, ie front and back.
