This sculpture consists of a stylised figure leaning on and effectively pushing an envelope. The envelope, in turn, is being crushed by the figure and is being pushed off it's base....which in this case is a beautiful slab of highly polished black granite. The figure has sculpted hands in which to hold/push the envelope. Both the envelope and the figure are fixed by steel pins into the base. The figure is finished in a greenish/yellow patina, the envelope is highly polished stainless steel and both are fixed to a Black Granite base.
