This work was inspired by the Stephen Bishop song "On and On" c1978 in which the lyrics go "Poor 'Ol Jimmy, tossed his heart in the air to see where it lands" obviously a broken heart. This particular song inspired me to create a whole series of works titled "The Starman"

This work is mounted on a sandstone base and has been finished in a greenish patina. The figure holds a heart in his hand.
