The writer, Dr.David Malouf, was quoted recently as saying “I’m aware of the number of times I really want to use the novel to stop time, to slow things up. You can slow up the narrative so that a second is something that can be explored maybe over pages”.

This collection of new works explores the beauty of the ordinary things in nature. They are about the geometry and rhythm of natural things. They are about quiet; but mainly they are about slowness.

The most beautiful thing we can experience, Einstein believed, is the mysterious.
