Here we have a little fellow standing, perhaps on a tiny hill with a wee bird resting on his head. Often ancient sculptures have no arms, so I decided to create a small tribute to them.
This work takes its influence from seeing large sculptures in parks with the ubiquitous pigeon sitting on top, which always makes me smile.
The whole sculpture is bronze, and the figure is finished in a lovely goldish patina and the base is a lovely green. However the tiny bird has a pale grey patina for interest.
